2017 Novak-Zaeske Scholarship Awarded
Emily Hubacek was awarded the 2017 Novak-Zaeske Scholarship on May 21, 2017. Emily is the daughter of Richard and Lisa Hubacek and is the granddaughter of Margaret Hubacek. Emily is a graduating senior from Bryan High School. Emily is an outstanding student ranked 13th in her class and an outstanding athlete competing as a member of the Bryan High School Varsity Volleyball and Softball team. Emily is also a Girl Scout, has received multiple academic and athletic honors, a member of the National Honor Society and an active member in her church youth group.
Emily will attend Texas A&M - Corpus Christi starting this fall and
plans to study Early Childhood Development in the hopes of becoming an elementary
school teacher. She will also have an opportunity to be a part of the TAMU-CC volleyball team as a recruited walk-on.
