Come Join the BVCHS!

Established June 23, 1997 the Brazos Valley Czech Heritage Society (BVCHS) continues to grow and thrive!  We have several future events including Kolache Baking Classes, Dances, Czech Easter Egg Decorating Classes, Game Nights, Bi-Monthly Socials and Meetings, Czech Cartoon/Movie Nights and many more events to come!  Our club also sponsors a Czech Language Class held in the Brazos Valley that takes place in the spring and fall semesters. 

 

Help the BVCHS Preserve the Czech and Slovak Heritage

The membership of our club is active in preserving and celebrating the Czech/Slovak culture.  We have cultural presentations at our BVCHS meetings along with our Cultural activities and socials.  Annually you will also find our booth at Worldfest held in College Station, Texas.  We invite you to join us and bring your input! 

 

Mission of BVCHS

The mission of the Brazos Valley Czech Heritage Society is to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage, including the music, language, genealogy, and history of all Texans of Czech, Moravian, Silesian and Slovakian ancestry.  It is a major goal of the BVCHS to do what we can to preserve our rich cultural heritage and pass it on to our youth.
