Leoš Janáček" Cunning Little Vixen (Comic opera)

12/04/2018 21:00

The Brazos Valley Czech Heritage Society will be hosting ”The Cunning Little Vixen” Czech opera by Leoš Janáček.

The opera incorporates Moravian folk music and rhythms as charts the adventures of a charming, feisty, cunning little vixen and contrasts the fierce vitality and exuberance of the animal world with the human world. This opera is a good introduction to Czech Opera for children!

Background: Leoš Janáček composed “The Cunning Little Vixen” in 1924.
