2013 Valentine's Day Dance
The Chapter’s first ever Valentine’s Day Dance was held on the afternoon of Sunday, February 17, 2013, at the St. Joseph PAC from 3 to 6 p.m. Music for the dance was provided by DJ Ronnie Horcica who hosts a program called “Czech Polka Time” airing locally in the Bryan/College Station area on KAGC Radio AM 1150, on Saturdays from 10:05 to 11:00 a.m., and on Sundays from 4:05 to 5:00 p.m., and which can also be found on the internet anywhere in cyberspace. Planning, decoration, and setup for the event were done by Jo Ann Zaeske and family [Fred and Cheryl (Zaeske) Wenck and Chris and Jeannine (Zaeske) Koll], Lynette Urbanovsky, Josie Milberger, and several others. A large turnout for the dance of about 80 people was highly encouraging, and plans are being discussed to host it again and possibly similar functions in the future based on the numerous favorable comments from
attendees.
